National Action Plans: Evaluating progress and charting next steps in Europe

This parallel session will facilitate experience sharing regarding National Action Plans (NAPs) on Business and Human Rights between government, business and civil society.

At the same time, it will seek to draw out concrete proposals on how to improve the impact of NAPs on the prevention and remedy of business-related human rights abuses. The session also looks at how regional review processes based on NAPs could enhance accountability of governments and businesses, to the standards marked by the UNGPs.
